I feel she was ditch on both parts. The 'bad' choice gives you a repeatable Agent17 mission which just wastes your resources for some fun. In fact, on my first time playing I thought the game would mostly be locked behind the VR gear you're supposed to get but I guess that storyline was abandoned.

Normally I would agree as avn gamers are one of the most entitled bunch, but you do need to realize this guy is making more from this game than most people make in their day job. One update a year would be really bad at this level. Once devs "make it" they tend to start milking. One of the downsides of pirating culture is that it results in the patreon business model which makes milking a thing. If everyone paid their fair share like a dollar, funding wouldnt be an issue. Of course no one knows if a wip is good until much later. So there is that.
Of course im not a payer so I dont mind waiting or expect anything. But those who are, are getting screwed if they expected a normal dev progression.
This is definitely one of the best (or better) adult games out there with some actual gameplay and decent character models. While I definitely recommend giving it a try, here's a checklist of things you should probably be aware:
you might not like the plot for what it is. The dominant motivation of the MC throughout the story is basically to jerk off to every female he sees. This works for an adult game that's primarily for... well, jerking off, but it honestly gets lame at some point.
The minigames are mostly unfun and repetitive chores which you're only doing them because they are the only means to progress quests.
Render quality is fluctuating especially in newer contents. There are some screens that look like 480p resolution or lower.
Update is extremely unstable since 2024. 0.24 got delayed a few times and was delivered with cut content. 0.25 was promised to ship in a month time with the said cut content but it has still not landed after another 3-4 months.
There was a progress update a few days back but I'm not interested in investing a few bucks just to read an excuse. It's quite worrying of how this game is going but it already has ~5-8 hours of content right now.
